June 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30– July 1, 7, 8  2017 – “The Miracle Worker” Play, Helen Keller Birthplace, 300 North Commons W. Tuscumbia

Fri. and Sat. evenings (only) at 8 pm.  Performed, in an outdoor theatre, on the grounds of Helen Keller’s Birthplace, this award-winning play recalls the childhood of the deaf-blind child, who became known as “America’s First Lady of Courage”, and her gifted teacher, Anne Sullivan.
